The Science Club Materials Clearinghouse Dear Ashford Teachers,
Welcome to our school's science materials clearinghouse. Below, you will find a list of materials that are stored in room 25. They are available for you to borrow when performing science experiments in your room. Please take a look at all of the wonderful tools that are just an email away, and feel free to contact a club member or Mr. Rossi if you have any additional requests or questions.
The list below is arranged by grade level and what a teacher in that grade may need to teach the science curriculum. Check your grade level out first and see what we have especially for you, but look at everything and browse.
Just scroll down to see all of the fantastic stuff!
The Science Club
LAB TECHNICIANS
We are middle school students who have joined the Science club because we are interested in learning and teaching science. We have been trained to operate some of the more complicated instruments. However, we are also available to act as your general assistant.
Here is a list of jobs that we can do:
set up materials
help you distribute materials to your students
operate the video microscope
clean up
deliver materials to your classroom
pick up materials from your classroom
help you with your class on the nature trail
We have great attitudes, we are great role models for the younger students, and we cannot wait to begin helping!
Do you want to use room 25 for a messy experiment? Contact Mr. Rossi to arrange a time. This room has many sinks and lots of counter space. It can come with middle school assistants to help you monitor your class and locate materials necessary to do your messy experiment.
